• 13th prince yinxiang designed his brother’s robes, armor, the emperor’s bed, the sedan, glasses, snuff bottle,glasses, official stamp, you name it. He also knew the emperor’s exact size/measurement for clothing.
• 4/13 were often sent out to survey the lakes/rivers and were always walking within each other’s shadows. In Kangxi’s later years, 13th prince no longer accompanied his father and 4th brother, but they wrote poems back and forth to each other. (32 poems to be exact)

” Yin Xiang inherited the traditional Manchu arts, everything from horseback riding to archery. He was extremely skilled at shooting while riding; if he did shoot, it would hit the target spot on. Once he was on a hunt and a tiger suddenly came out of nowhere, his expression didn’t even change, just rushed forward with the knife in hand.”

when i was watching bbjx, i was all, “oh word. he killed a tiger, big whoop”

but now, i’m imagining yuan hong, as 13th, killing a tiger. this image is sexy as hell. they should have shown this in a flashback in bbjx. aflksj;fsd.
