what if 殷总 has some memories of being 四爷 from 300 hundred years ago? and he’s searching for this girl who resembles ruo xi/and or feels like the girl from his…dreams/memories in the modern times even though he doesn’t really know what she looks like yet (“Do I know you?” from the museum). But then he meets Lan Lan the super model, first (who also has a plot with Han Qing) and she gets him to believe that she was Ruo Xi BUT THEN she is also filming a drama at the same time, which is BU BU JING XIN and then she gets him to to guest star as 四爷。and that’s why we keep seeing Longshi in their BBJX costumes.

okay don’t take this seriously, i just woke up haha. it’s more likely that this is what happens a few years after ruo xi’s death.
